Yes, you are right. If love is the basis of our actions, this world would be much better.

Here in India, the root basis of spirituality is to find our true godly nature. Many enlightened masters have time again told us to identify ego and dissolve it completely. Then what is left is godliness.

Enemy is just a perception of ego. What we consider as an enemy is a picture of someone who does not go well with our beliefs, thoughts and life. And I believe Jesus has nailed it right, loving the enemy can show us our egoic barrier that we could not identify earlier. Thank you so much for sharing, Joseph. :)
