The Winter Is Coming
A poem
I heard
The winter is coming
Chilly winds from the corner of windows
finding its way in
The jackets, the quilts
the mufflers, the coat
O that hidden scarf
Are you still breathing beneath the summer clothes?
A huge relief from the sweaty summers
But this bone-chilling
Tits raising winter
Can I skip bath time for like a year?
The convergence of the sunny rays
tilting its gaze
Leaving more room to shiver
Now, can I have that old rum?
The cold clammy feet and hands
the rusted knees squeaking
every time I stand
Can I take this winter as an excuse,
to snuggle within your hug and never to come out!
