Thank you for reaching out, Dominique. It is not Reiki or any other esoteric art that I was talking about. It was more about how people limit themselves to these arts and stop seeking their real selves, and how they lure people into their trap by marketing these things as spirituality for their personal gain, which sadly has become the trend.

Spirituality is a way to de-identify with everything.

But the attachment of ego to the great world of healing and psychic powers is immense. These are esoteric gifts one may receive on their journey.

But getting attached to these titles will only lengthen the spiritual journey.

One has to be extremely aware that they are not massaging their egos under the guise of esoteric arts. New age spirituality works on the periphery. If one is a genuine seeker of life, he/she will have to dive into the unknown. Only then life can express itself through them.

When that happens, nobody is there to identify themselves as anything and if the universe deems fit, it will work its way through you. Without your knowledge, people will heal or find guidance.
